STEP 1 In your MATERIALS PALETTE Load BLACK in your foreground Load Gold Foil pattern in the background using these settings
STEP 2 Open a new image 550 x 650 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel

STEP 7 DESELECT LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE EDIT>>> Repeat Duplicate Layer Close Raster 1 and Copy of Raster 1
STEP 8 Working on Copy (2) of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> ROTATING MIRROR
STEP 9 Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 10 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT LAYERS >>> DUPLICATE IMAGE >>> FLIP IMAGE >>> MIRROR LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE
STEP 11 OPEN & ACTIVATE Copy of Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> REFLECTION EFFECTS >>> KALEIDOSCOPE
STEP 12 Choose your SELECTION TOOL Selection Type = Rectangle Mode = ADD (Shift) Feather = 0 Antialias = UNChecked Select the 4 corners and the centre pattern
STEP 13 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 99% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE OPEN Raster 1 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 90% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 14 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL Flood fill with BLACK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with Gold Foil SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 3 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with BLACK SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 23

STEP 16 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the transparent area between the 2 gold borders
STEP 17 Flood fill with OFF WHITE #e1e5f0 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> FINE LEATHER Same settings EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL Same settings DESELECT
STEP 18 ACTIVATE the Merged layer With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the centre transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 3 SELECTIONS >>> INVERT LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Flood fill with BLACK DESELECT
STEP 19 EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
STEP 20 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 21 ACTIVATE the Merged layer EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 ACTIVATE Raster 1 EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE Save as .pspimage image
STEP 22 Open up the ZhaoKailin(17) image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 67% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN
STEP 23 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
